ANIMATED AD CAMPAIGN

For their third collaboration with Van Cleef & Arpels, artists Burcu & Geoffrey teamed up with the Mazarine agency and the entire Troublemakers animation team to create a new film that places the art of jewelry within a stylized natural setting. To achieve this, the artists borrowed the agility of 3D animation and the tactile beauty of 2D illustration to bring this delicate fall campaign to life, set between the last glimmers of summer and the deep blues of winter.

Van Cleef and Arpel’s jewelry is faithfully recreated in three dimensions, set against the backdrop of vividly colored, living nature scenes. Following the twirls of the lucky butterfly, the faithful protagonist of Alhambra’s campaigns, we travel through landscapes where three-dimensional animation brings to life shapes that appear to be hand-drawn. By playing with the transparency of materials, Burcu & Geoffrey’s graphic style highlights the delicacy of the petals, creating a subtle interplay of depth in this illustrated design. Like the jewelry it showcases, this campaign embodies a certain idea of elegance: simple, warm, and meticulous down to the smallest detail. Delicate pieces blend in with their serene and delicate surroundings, highlighting the harmony of Burcu and Geoffrey’s carefully crafted campaign.
