As Welcome to the Jungle approaches its tenth anniversary, the company unveils its first nationwide brand campaign, with agency Marcel and a constellation of international illustrators. The concept: pizza and pineapple, the iconic and divisive duo, to illustrate the chemistry between a candidate and a company made for each other. Directed by Alex Scalvino with illustrations by Valestrator, the film uses squash and stretch techniques from classic 2D animation to inject flexibility and humor into the message. Job hunting has never looked so delicious.

Alexandre Scalvino

Alexandre Scalvino is a director with a passion for animation and advertising. After eight years as a post-production supervisor at TROUBLEMAKERS, he turned to directing, creating a unique style that blends storytelling, animation, and art direction. He has collaborated on numerous commercials, opening sequences, and VR projects.

James Hagger

James Hagger is a producer and the founder of Troublemakers. He views production as a space for dialogue between storytelling, craftsmanship, and artistic integrity. Trained in London in the late 1990s as an assistant director, he worked alongside Nick Love, Kevin Reynolds, Christian Volckman, and Harmony Korine—experiences that have shaped his vision.
