SYNOPSIS
Somewhere between the real and the dreamed, there is a forest. And in that forest, everyone is hungry.
Burcu and Geoffrey invite us to wander through it. We encounter birds eyeing the wrong branches, insects running faster than their shadows, reptiles lying in wait, and fish with nerves of steel. Every inhabitant is on their own quest for the perfect snack, making do with what the forest offers and a great deal of enthusiasm.
Casse-Croûte is a short, colorful animated film with no dialogue. No hero, no villain, just the quiet cycle of a wild community getting by on instinct and appetite. A gentle, funny celebration of wildlife, seen from the inside.
