Kirk Hendry

Kirk Hendry is an award-winning filmmaker with a particular knack for capturing the enchanting. He has worked on commercials, short-films, music videos and feature-length films throughout his career. Most notably, Kirk has directed commercials for ITV, The World Wildlife Fund, Ardbeg Whiskey and The Guardian newspaper.  His popular Dancing On Ice 'Polar Bears' promos for ITV both won gold at Promax Europe, and his animated short ‘Junk' was also selected at over 150 film festivals worldwide, sweeping up numerous awards and nominations. Kirk has recently developed a feature-length animated film of author Michael Morpurgo's award-winning book Kensuke's Kingdom alongside co-Director Neil Boyle, which stars Cillian Murphy, Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe.
